What began in 1965 as a small electrical trading shop in the erstwhile city of Bombay has grown into India’s leading manufacturer of winding wires. Guided by the leadership and vision of Shri Rameshwarlal Kabra, RR Shramik has become the most trusted brand in winding wires. Over the last five decades, our skilled manpower, modern technology and constant focus on improvement have helped us deliver unmatched end-product quality to our clients.
We are India’s only manufacturer of enamelled copper wires offering the widest range, from 0.018 mm to 4.876 mm (SWG 06–52), along with additional intermediate and mm sizes. Our winding wire portfolio comprises sixteen products across five groups: Enamelled Copper Wire (ECW), Enamelled Copper Strips (ECS), Submersible Winding Wire (SWW), Bare Copper Strips (BCS) and Enamelled Aluminium Wire (EAW).
Building on our strength in copper, we have extended our expertise to seamless copper tubes through Ram Ratna Wires Limited, part of the USD 1.6 billion RR Global group. Our two advanced plants in Vadodara, Gujarat and Bhiwadi, Rajasthan have a combined installed capacity of 36,000 MTPA. They use Cast & Roll technology and 99.99% pure electrolytic copper cathode, with online eddy current testing and annealing to ensure the highest quality. Our DHP (De-oxidised High Residual Phosphorus) grade range includes Level Wound Coils (LWC), Pancake Coils (PCC), Straight Copper Pipes, Inner Grooved Tubes, PVC-Coated Tubes, Capillary Tubes, Finned Copper Tubes and Medical Grade Tubes.
We operate in the transmission and distribution (T&D) industry and are the first choice of large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), top electrical companies in India and MNCs. Our copper tubes serve HVAC, refrigeration and air-conditioning OEMs, as well as plumbing, gas piping, medical gas, solar and general engineering applications, and reach customers in over 90 countries. We also cater to thousands of small manufacturing and repairing units of electrical equipment across the country.
